Introduction

Wi-fi -unit

Wi-fi unit shall be installed on bridge and it offers connection for Prtable UI unit. Wi-fi unit cannot be used to connect to any other purpose than offering connection between central unit and portable UI unit.

Connectivity Unit

Connectivity Unit shall be installed on vessel bridge (see installation manual). It offers required network to bridge area (Ethernet and Wi-Fi) to connect with User Interface. It also offers external connectivity to provide maintenance access for Groke and enables software updates to system.

Fixed UI Unit (optional)

Fixed UI Unit offers User Interface that is shown on fixed display installed on bridge. It is connected to Connectivity Unit via ethernet

Portable UI Unit

Portable UI unit contains User Interface application that can be used as hand-held UI device connected via Connectivity Unit Wi-fi.
