24. Troubleshooting

Problems with video

Problem: The video stream is unstable or doesn’t work at all.

Solution: Try connecting the UI tablet with the provided ethernet cable. The Wifi connection might be experiencing interference from onboard systems. Alternatively, you might be out of the Wifi range. If the video connection still is experiencing issues, try restarting the application. If this doesn’t work, consider restarting the tablet and the central unit.

UI is slow to respond or displays error message

Problem: UI displays “No object data received”

Solution: Try restarting the UI application from the “RESTART APP” menu button. If this doesn’t help, consider restarting the central unit. If the problem persists, contacting Groke customer service is recommended.

Problem: The UI is unresponsive

Solution: Try restarting the tablet by pressing the tablet power button and volume down button at the same time for 3 seconds. Then press restart.

Problem: The satellite map isn’t accessible or visible

Solution: The satellite map uses internet connection to download the satellite imagery. Internet connection might not be available at sea. Prefer to use the vector chart map mode, or download the satellite map data for the voyage area beforehand for offline use (Refer to page 16)

Problem: The video blending doesn’t change

Solution: consider restarting the central unit.
