9. Detection Types (Map)

Fused detection (1)

Filled icon with hollow edges
In map view the detection is shown as fused if it has two or more sources (Camera, AIS and Radar*)

Moving and stationary detections

Moving detections are shown as arrows, stationary detections as circles (5).

*Available if radar is integrated to the system and ARPA targets are acquired.

The map view will always show all detection types (max 50 detections). The thin white outer border circle displays the edge of the current detection range.

Also note that Sensor Fusion is not always able to determine detections from different sources as being the same vessel. The UI might then display separate AIS and Camera detection symbols for a singular vessel.
