Tablet power on & power off

UI Tablet

Powering the UI tablet on/off is not coupled to Central Unit and so the tablet can be turned on and turned off independently. However if central unit is powered off, the UI cannot show any video or data.

The UI tablet is powered on by holding the power button down until the tablet starts up. When the tablet starts, the lock screen appears. By swiping it up, two icons appear: UI app and Settings. In Settings, the brightness of screen can be adjusted. The application can be started by pressing the UI app icon. If no action is taken in the beginning, after a few seconds the application starts automatically in kiosk mode.

When the application starts up, you are required to accept that you understand the written statement (see: Important note 1). After pressing the accept button,the application starts. If Central Unit is powered on and running, video and object data will be visible. During the first seconds, the app performance might be slower than normal as it loads the map data.

UI tablet can be put to sleep mode by quickly pressing the Power button. To power off the UI tablet, press the Power and Volume down buttons simultaneously for a few seconds.
